A few weeks ago I attended the monthly electronic music night at Club Garibaldi called 'Melt' hosted by Milwaukee's DeMix. On the bill, was a Chicago based DJ/producer by the name of Dolor. Dolor's real name is Shawn Webb, and his set full with dark beats and rhythms blew me away. It turns out that he is pals with Milwaukee's Adoptahighway and Lorn, who is on Flying Lotus' label Brainfeeder.
After his performance that night, I asked Dolor would he mind doing a guest mix for Rhythm Lab Radio. He agreed, and he put together 30 minutes of mind blowing tunes, which most of it was his own material. The mix also includes tracks from his forthcoming EP "A Chapel For Velvet."
