No adults allowed! Lead2Change's Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) is a group of young people ages 13-18 who advise the board of directors on the expenditure of grants for youth-led service. The group meets monthly to determine ways to advocate for youth service and leadership for youth across the four county regions (Milwaukee, Waukesha, Washington, and Ozaukee). YAC members review submitted grant proposals and selects those that they think are viable, well organized and best meet the guideline criteria. These organizations are then asked to make presentations before YAC members. After these presentations, the group makes the final recommendations of which projects to fund.
