You need a shot of reality? Students from Elkhorn Area High School in Elkhorn, WI got a big ol' injection when they participated in Reality Check, a program developed by Educators Credit Union. Reality Check promotes financial literacy through a hands-on, interactive and playful approach. Youth participants choose a career, and then they are provided a month's worth of experience in one day...Actually, less than one day. Man, I wish we'd had programs like this when I was in high school!
