You'll kvell over this! I attended the opening exhibit of "You, Me and Community" at the Jewish Community Center. This exhibit featured the extraordinary work of young photographers, many of whom embarked on a trip to Israel. Participants worked with the Israeli photographer Zion Ozeri and the Jewish Lens' curriculum to create an intimate portrait (figuratively AND literally) of Jewish life, culture, and...gelato...yes, gelato..Lots of gelato in Israel, evidently.
