Summerfest is just around the corner, and one of the artists that I'm really excited to see is Hall & Oates. I remember my folks playing their music when I was young. There is just something about that duo's music that is timeless.
Daryl Hall from Hall & Oates has been doing this amazing web show called "Live From Daryl's House" where he brings in other artists to collaborate with on tracks. When checking out my Facebook newsfeed, I came across his newest epsiode where it features Mayer Hawthorne, who recently signed with Universal Records. Two met up at Daryl's house (explains the name of the show) and perform several tracks together including some of Mayer's tunes and some of Hall & Oates tunes. I would love to have been a fly on the wall during that session. Check it out below or watch it here. If you watch closely, you will catch the legendary Booker T. Jones in the show.
