Jezamil (pronounced HEY-ZA-MEEL) Vega Skeels, Neighborhood Planner for the Layton Boulevard West Neighbors is a graduate of UWM's School of Architecture, and a native of gorgeous Puerto Rico. This woman does it all: Design consultant for the streetscapes of the area, energy consultant...you name it, this woman does it. I sat down with Jezamil and her daughter (who drew pictures for us) at her home in the Burnham Park neighborhood to learn more about her work and her life.
