Got Perk? Need some camaraderie? Then look no further than Sherman Perk, Sherman Park's gem on the corner of 51st and Roosevelt. Owner Bob Olin serves up some steaming coffee and smoooooooth smoothies, along with a dose of Sherman Park neighborhood bonding, live music, and friendly staff. The site was once a filling station, and has been designated an historic landmark. Since visiting the cafe three days in a row to capture stories, I am now a regular.
