The Sherman Parkneighborhood houses approximately 45,000 people; it truly is a town within a city. I spoke with various residents to find out what they love most about their community, and I found some distinct parallels between Riverwest and Sherman Park. Both neighborhoods boast strong community advocacy, neighborhood engagement, diversity, parks, historic buildings and housing stock, and an active neighborhood/community organization.
