Bay View is a quaint, beautiful neighborhood that sits on the shores of Lake Michigan and it's filled with friendly faces. Home to roughly 4,000 residents, the Bay View neighborhood was established as Milwaukee’s 17th ward.
With rich, deep Milwaukee roots, Bay View has a variety of historic buildings and delicate architecture that each hold their own story. The South Shore Community is close to the center of downtown Milwaukee but manages to reflect a small-town feel.
I spoke with a variety of Bay View community members that said nothing but positive things about their neighborhood. The local businesses on the streets are clean, vibrant and welcoming while the people are kind, full of character, and willing to share their love for everything Bay View.
