The Hank Aaron State Trail snakes its way through myriad Milwaukee neighborhoods, connecting the city, its residents, and local businesses. I met with Melissa Cook and Bob Peschel about the upcoming Hank Aaron State Trail 5K Run/Walk, which takes place August 13, 2011. They gave me a guided walking tour of a short section of the trail, pointing out the local flora and fauna, the clean and clear Menomonee River, and the trail's and river's various uses.
