Today we had the pleasure of hosting a live performance in studio with GABBY YOUNG & THE OTHER ANIMALS.
Gabby Young and her 8 piece band Other Animals have been playing together for just over a year, garnering a strong, loyal and extremely diverse fanbase enjoying the music, ranging from the burlesque to indie rock, folk and jazz. They have, on invitation, played major festivals such as Glastonbury, The Secret Garden Party, the Marlborough Jazz Festival and a recent sell out show at the famous Union Chapel and are playing The Big Chill, Latitude, Secret Garden Party, Green Belt, Big Green Gathering this summer,they were invited to play at this year’s SXSW festival but declined in favour of a sell-out US tour supporting the great troubadour Al Stewart.
Their debut album "We're All In This Together", hit the states last year, and we've been able to catch them in Milwaukee when they are on this side of the pond. The Animals joined us with Gabby to perform a few songs from their debut and a new one, the world has not yet heard.
