Anne Brummit, Cheryl Nenn, and Jeanne Salmon are keeping the voice of the river alive. How might they be doing this, you ask? Well, through the Milwaukee River Greenway Coalition. Their mission includes protecting the integrity and beauty of the Milwaukee river and surrounding area by creating an 878 acre park replete with indigenous flora and fauna, so that you, yes you, can bike, walk, talk, meditate, contemplate, kayak, canoe; just bring your whole crew.
Grab your Pulaski and your McCloud, sojourn to Estabrook park on a Saturday, and help Jeanne and her volunteers create and maintain trails.
