This interfaith, nonprofit agency works with victims, offenders and the community to try to reach a fair system of criminal justice, one that treats every person involved with respect.
There are several programs at The Benedict Center that are meeting the needs of both women and men. An example of a program includes women who’ve been in conflict with the law through alcohol and drug use, anger/stress management, overcoming past trauma, as well as providing basic adult education, parent classes, and outreach with women on the streets.
If you want to help meet the needs of The Benedict Center, there are ways you can help. You can simply spread their message. You could volunteer. You can become a friend and support the center by making a donation. Or simply listen to the podcast below to learn more about this nonprofit.
