I had the honor of interviewing Rueben Harpole, former UWM professor and Milwaukee education advocate extraordinaire. Mr. Harpole popped in to the studios to talk about the Homework First program.
Homework First targets students in elementary school (grades 2-5) by providing academic support. Funded by the Helen Bader Foundation, Homework First works with parents, teachers, and community members to ensure the academic achievement and growth through incentives and peer support.
