The Samaritan House of St. Michaels is a new program that focuses on providing literacy skills, support, and resources to a community with which you may not be familiar: The Karen Tribe of Myanmar. Many of this tribe are recent immigrant refugees to the Milwaukee area, and The Samaritan House is looking for support through volunteerism, clothing donations, and other means to meet the need of this population.
