After a little hiatus James Mercer and the rest of The Shins will be back with a new album in 2012. In 2010 & 2011, Mercer was a little busy with the Broken Bells project with Danger Mouse. Today, the band announced their new album Port of Morrow and dropped a new song from the album. You can stream their new song, "Simple Song" over at their website or below.
