Today, a legend and a true American treasure has passed away. Etta James, born Jamesetta Hawkins in 1938, died at the age of 73 from complications with leukemia. Her music is known all over the world, and she has inspired countless artists. Now heaven can enjoy her beautiful music. Rest in Peace.
