The Cinderella Project/Safe Streets, Healthy Kids

The Cinderella Project: Produced by Cariss Powell from Cardinal Stritch University.

“ I wish I had a fairy Godmother to make my wish come true for prom.”

“A dress, a pair of shoes…”

Well, she can! Every girl can experience magic on her day of prom with the Cinderella Project MKE.

The Cinderella Project MKE gives Milwaukee and surrounding area youth the chance to receive a free prom dress along with accessories to complete the total look.

The Cinderella Project MKE is not just about receiving a free prom dress; the teens gain knowledge through workshops on healthy relationships, hygiene and advice for making proper prom night choices.

The Gadzuric Foundation created the Cinderella Project MKE to collect and distribute donated prom dresses to alleviate some of the costs attending prom can have.

To receive a dress you must:

  • Fill out the application/essay (http://gadzuricfoundation.org/)

  • Attend a workshop, which will happen the same day as the dress giveaway

  • Bring a letter of support from an adult mentor, teacher, pastor, community worker, etc.

DRESS DONATIONS! Drop off is at Luci Boutique 532 N. Water Street, Milwaukee, WI, 53212.  Store hours are Mon – Wed: 10am – 8pm; Thur – Sat: 10am – 9pm; and Sun: 12pm – 6pm.

Dresses are accepted at the drop off location year round.
