Society have always been interested in the story of artists who have passed away before their prime like Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, and Kurt Cobain. These type of tragic stories seems to attract directors and filmmakers. The story of singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley is no different. In 1997, Buckley was found drowned in the Wolf River while working on his second album My Sweetheart, The Drunk. Buckley was considered on of the best songwriters in the 20th century.
Now an upcoming film tells the story a tribute concert for Jeff Buckley's father, Tim, and Jeff's involvement in the concert. The name of the film is called Greetings From Tim Buckley and it stars Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl. This is the first film about the late singer/songwriter.
