Catholic Charities of Southeastern Wisconsin does many things for many people. They
provide a variety of free services to 10 counties in Southeastern Wisconsin. And they couldn't do it without generous donations and massive fundraising efforts.
The Making A Ripple campaign is helping them raise the money they need to continue their services. Like ripples formed from one drop of water, one good deed leads to another and another.
Sandy Leske, Director of Mission Advancement, says that this year's "Christmas Castle" is a perfect example of how one kind idea has caused a ripple effect and now they are able to help 3,000 people receive gifts this holiday season. They've been collecting, sorting, wrapping and delivering gifts all month long in a portion of the Cousin's Center in St. Francis they've renamed the Christmas Castle.
The Making A Ripple campaign won't end after the holidays. They plan to continue this
work all year long as they commit random acts of kindness around South Eastern Wisconsin. People are encouraged to blog about their good deed online, and even print out Make A Ripple cards to pass out to others.
