You may remember our series of stories from 2009, The First Summer of the Rest of Your Life where we followed six at-risk MPS students as they graduated from high school.
This week we caught up with Shaqueda Jenkins. A senior at Benadict College, South Carolina, she's had a very busy and exciting time at college. Actually, she is doing so well that she could have graduated after three years, but she stuck around one more to add a second minor (Criminal Justice) to her major in Biology/minor in Chemistry . She holds the
postition in her student government, is involved in many activities and did an internship for NASA.
