I couldn't have asked for a better time with our guests on 414 Music this week. Lovanova was the winner of our 2011 Milwaukee Music Award for "Best Disc We Missed." They show why, playing a few songs from their newest offering, Cabinova. It's some of the most technically proficent music I've heard on 414 Music. These guys can jam.
We talked a bit about their history, how Cabinova was recorded, and some of the challenges of playing in an instrumental band. We also moved a lot of gear around. It was well worth the time and effort to put it together. Check out the whole session below.
