The Milwaukee Christian Center's helps dozens of young men and women develop their work skills though its YouthBuild program.
A Wisconsin Fresh Start Initiative and funded primarily by Americorps, YouthBuild helps a low-income, at-risk youth and young adults with comprehensive training and employment services in order to help them lead more responsible lives.
Program participants get help earning their GEDs, all while learning the basics of construction at nearby homes.
