This week on the Seven o'Clock Sample, we are shuffling through our favorite samples. We've covered a lot of bases on this program, and every now and then we like to sit back and enjoy some of our greatest discovories. A few months back we explored the music of Fatboy Slim on the program. Without a doubt, one of my favorite songs in his collection has to be "Praise You". Not only is it a great track, but it's one of his best music videos.
This video was on heavy rotation in the late 1990's on MTV. ( Remember when they played videos on MTV? ) The main vocal sample for this track comes from a track by Camille Yarbrough called "Take Yo' Praise".
