Ever give something a listen, decide that you aren't all that impressed, then listen again and find a song you can't believe you missed? Such was the case with Venezuelan politico-rockers La Vida Boheme, whose album Sera dropped last month on Nacional Records.
La Vida Boheme has followed in the footsteps of the legendary Mexican group Café Tacvba and made their Latin rock Latin again. Musically, lyrically and thematically, this is a band that could only come from Venezuela and their music speaks to their own people as much as any critic in Milwaukee that didn't 'get it' on the first listen.
