Rhymesayers take Summerfest

Rhymesayers are taking over the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse Stage at Summerfest on Friday, June 28 th.

Rymesayers is the hip-hop label proudly out of the Twin Cities that are producing their own sound and cast of outrageously talented artists such as Atmosphere, Brother Ali, POS, and MF Doom. Headlining the night will be Atmosphere, who packed Summerfest from the fried eggplant stand all the way to the Marcus. Get there early because it’s not just Atmosphere you want to see. Rhymesayers are going to curate the whole stage that day and are finally bringing some amazing hip-hop acts to Summerfest. Every year the festival is chronically underdeveloped in terms of hip-hop acts.

Joining Atmosphere will be Brother Ali, coming off his release of Mourning in American and Dreaming in Color.

They will also share the stage with The Uncluded, Kimya Dawson and Aesop Rock’s new project. Their album Hokey Freight just dropped. Get the 88Nine album review here
