A Little Sampled Samba

This week's theme on the Seven O'Clock sample is A LITTLE SAMBA.  We are going to explore the genre and how it's been sampled over the years.  Samba's roots are in Brazil and Africa, but the genre's influnce spread world wide in the early 1900s.  By the 1950s,  jazz greats had adopted much of the style's standards into American music.  Today we listen to the song "Samba De Uma Nota So".  This song was originally composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim

It's been perfomed by many of the greats from Lalo Schrifrin
