Today nothing else matters. Kendrick Lamar, one of my absolute favorites, is playing the Bud Lite stage this evening. I don’t think I’ve been this giddy since my friend’s mom took me to see NSYNC in fifth grade (shout out to Carolyn). Superfandom aside, I have serious respect for this guy and his attempt to remove mainstream rap from the gutter.

I was also looking forward to seeing Heartless Bastards but the unmerciful scheduling gods bumped them up against Kendrick. I’ll probably catch a song or two.
And, since Azealia Banks canceled I haven’t decided who I’ll end the night with.
Today is an adventure day. My plan is to meet up with some old friends and check out whoever sounds good, so my recap will be much more detailed.
