Students from Bradley Tech and Bay View High Schools joined forces last week to create two pop-up museums featuring neighborhood history.
The Milwaukee Observatory, a joint effort between the schools and Discovery World, helped students cultivate history of two neighborhoods: Bay View and Walker's Point.
The students set up temporary outdoor exhibits at South Shore Park and Bradley Tech High School. Visitors had the chance to read about prominent Milwaukeeans, examine photos and other artifacts, and contribute their own stories at an audio recording booth.
