Just wanted to get this to you at long last, the mixtape from last Sunday's Sound Travels; music from the French Caribbean ina nice lil hour-long mix. Music from countries like Haiti, Martinique, and Guadeloupe; very tribal yet sophistocated and proper at times, swingin stuff really. The reason for the delay is that my hard drive crashed, taking with it the playlist...ah technology. But I still have the mix and memories of all the dope people that came out for the live session at The Nomad.
