Open Letter to Charles Bradley

This week on the Seven O'Clock Sample, we are running down the list of Grammy winner's who have used samples to create music.  The Grammy for Best rap/sung collaboration went to Jay Z for  “Holy Grail” featuring Justin Timberlake.

While this song contains no direct samples, it does borrow a riff from Nirvana...

DUH!

So on this same album,  Timbaland and Swizz Beatz created a jam for the Jigga Man called "Open Letter".

This track features a loop of Charles Bradley's "I Believe In Your Love".

Song made such a splash, that The White House press secretary Jay Carney, had to deny Jigga's claims in a press conference.  LOL!
