Milwaukee-based author and musician Delvyn Crawford this week released a novel and CD targeted at inner city youth.
Crawford says his project, "Out The Gutter," is meant to engage with its audience on two levels -- each track on the CD syncs with a chapter of the book.
The story follows a young man named Bryce as he struggles to overcome a dysfunctional family and an abusive, alcoholic father.
The book and CD combo will be released this week.
