Just wanted to post the Sound Travels mix from Sunday; a mix inspired by one of the more influential compilations to enter my life: DJ Nuts' Culturacopeia Mixtape. A Disc that has been a touchstone for my continued adventures into Brazilian music. Since DJ Nuts never dropped a part 2 in this series, I thought I might instead. In the same vein, I had an hour-long mix chock full of some of my favorite Brazilian jams.
True to the original, I will post no track-list for this. Mainly because the lack of one on the original proved pivotal for me, as I will probly be searching for these songs forever. Perhaps this mix'll be the same for you. And if you can find the now out of print original from DJ Nuts, consider yourself lucky, even moreso if you can find any of the originals. Here's my interpretation...
