This week featured three new Milwaukee songs and a tune from Madison's Phox. First up, is the new Milwaukee duo Dream Attics. The group features Kane Place Record Club's Nick Tovarek and Gazettiers' Shane English. The two just released a fantastic EP entitled UNBEND, which reminds me of Washed Out. We played the track "That's The Secret, That's The Key" Check out the review from Milwaukee Record. Next is Milwaukee's Kiings. We featured the song "Starting To Think (They Might Be On To Something)" featuring Colin Plant from Logic & Raze. You can find the tune on their Daytrotter session, which dropped last week. We also played Phox's track "Barside" from a Daytrotter session from a year ago.
We also debuted new music from Jose James forthcoming Blue Note album as well as new track from Chet Faker's debut album Built on Glass. Listen to the show below via Soundcloud or Mixcloud.
