The Milwaukee Center For Independence assists individuals and families with special needs to better live and work in the community. Through various classes and services, MCFI helps people living with disabilities and other barriers to live independent, successful lives.
People recovering from traumatic and acquired brain injuries and stroke are able to move forward in their lives as they benefit from classes through the NEXDAY program. The Brain Injury Rehab Center on Howell Avenue in Bay View has an outpatient clinic with various programs to help clients, using a variety of techniques to get their clients back their independence.
