It looks like 2015 will be a banner year for Milwaukee's Klassik. In the last few days, the multi-talented artist has been featured in the Source and Huffington Post website. In 2014, Klassik even collaborated with Milwaukee's Altos at a show at the Cactus Club.
Today, Klassik drops his latest EP simply entitled WINTER. From the press release:
WINTER. The coldest season of the year. In the natural cycle of seasons we experience on this planet, WINTER can be the harshest, and often least inviting of them all.Creative individuals constantly evolve through similar cycles, albeit much more sporadic and irregular.
This WINTER EP represents a period of the artistic journey that is marked by depression, isolation, and frustration. The goal is to encompass those feelings, but then transform them into hope for the return of joy, of love, and of brighter, warmer days. For now, bundle up, because WINTER is upon us.
The WINTER EP is the first part of his SEASONS series. Listen to the WINTER EP below and catch Klassik perform a release show tonight (January 15) at Hotel Foster.
