At this year's past Sundance Film festival, the film Kurt Cobain Montage of Heck premiered and was one of our top music documentary picks for 2015. It was announced yesterday, that HBO will air the documentary on May 4.
The documentary, directed by Brett Morgen, examines the life of Cobain by blending his art, music and home movies. There will be an accompanying soundtrack that will feature an unreleased song. Check out the trailer below.
