On Thursday mornings at 88NINE, it's TAP'd IN! Piet Levy of the Journal Sentinal and me ( Jordan Lee ) talk about music in and from Milwaukee. This morning we "debuted" the new Violent Femmes track and talk about the ups and downs of one of Milwaukee's most famoue bands.
We also discussed MKE's involvement ( or lack there of ) at SXSW this year. The internationally infamous music festival and conference in Austin, Texas has less Milwaukee bands that we know of this year, compared to years past. ( and we are not saying that's a bad thing )
