One of the new series in the Milwaukee Film Festival is the Black Lens program. Now in its second year, the Black Lens program focuses on films that are directed by black directors. I got a chance to talk to Geraud Blanks, who is the curator of the program, about some of the films screening during the festival, and films that he wanted to screen, but didn’t make it into the program and more.
