Tom Petty is a national treasure. It's Unamerican to dislike Tom Petty and today is his birthday. Tom is big in our house, we have a framed Tom Petty poster that hangs above our piano. There's no shortage of Tom Petty covers out there but my lovely wife Carla alerted me to a cover of "Learning to Fly" by husband and wife duo The Weepies. So, on this, Tom's birthday, we shall play that, Tom's version first, then the Weepies version. Happy Birthday, Tom!
