"Little Pieces" - Emily Zimmer

Artists' statement

I played every instrument on the album except for keyboards (done by Toby Lee Marshall), and I hire a band for my full-band live shows. I play all of my other shows solo.

Album release show Friday, 10/8/21 at Quarters 900 E. Center St. in Milwaukee. $5, 21+, Emily (with a full band) plays at 10 p.m., The Rogue Electrics play at 9 p.m., and Alex Smith plays at 8 p.m.

At the show, there will be a raffle to benefit the Riverwest Food Pantry. Raffle prizes include a merch package from Emily and more. 100% of raffle ticket proceeds will go to benefit the food pantry.

Oh, and it may be worth mentioning that Toby Lee Marshall of the Koch Marshall Trio plays keys on "Little Pieces" and the opening track of the album "Isn't It Hard."
