The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership of the organization to ensure delivery of the highest quality programming while safeguarding the organization’s financial stability. The next Executive Director will join Radio Milwaukee at an exciting time. Having emerged from the past two years with exciting new initiatives underway and core strategic activities to expand, the new leader will join an organization that is poised to begin its next evolution after 15 years of strong success. 88Nine Afternoon Drive Host/Assistant Program Director

The role represents Radio Milwaukee’s voice in the community. This person introduces programs and music, reads promotional copy and public service announcements, contributes to station digital media initiatives and is involved in the overall public presentation of the station. (Apply here)

HYFIN Production Manager

The Production Manager directs the sound of HYFIN, the Urban Alternative product, by working with the Programming Director, Development and Marketing teams to create sweepers, promos, station IDs and branding that defines the sound of WYMS HD2. (Apply here)

Intern at 88Nine Radio Milwaukee

Radio Milwaukee interns learn the “ins” and “outs” of non-commercial radio by participating in the day-to-day tasks of programming, promotions, production, engineering, traffic, operations and underwriting. Each intern will be given single and ongoing assignments to complete, providing experience in the many forms of radio operations.

  • Spring program: First week of January to last week of May
  • Summer program: First week of June to last week of August
  • Fall program:  First week of September to last week of December

Interns must be available at least 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm.
