HYFIN Account Executive
The HYFIN Account Executive is a full-time media sales position responsible for selling HYFIN sponsorship packages and digital media to secure financial support for the Radio Milwaukee, Inc. mission. In this sales role, you will identify and reach out to decision-makers at local businesses and nonprofits who are actively targeting consumers in the BIPOC community, meet with them to understand their marketing needs, and develop and present proposals that offer solutions to those partner needs. Major Giving and Grants Officer
The Major Giving and Grants Officer will build relationships with major donors and prospects to secure gifts of over $10,000 for annual operating and program-specific projects. This position will actively qualify and cultivate major donor prospects, and make direct solicitations. Responsibilities include conducting prospect research, developing solicitation strategies, and writing gift proposals and reports. They will manage a portfolio of approximately 150 donors and spend 75% or more of their time outside of the office in face-to-face or virtual meetings to cultivate and steward donor relationships. Solicitations may also include gala tables/support and planned giving commitments. The individual in this role will have 3-5 years of major gift fundraising experience and the proven ability to guide donors to more significant support. Promotions Specialist
Radio Milwaukee’s Promotions Specialist will strive to build relationships with community partners, venues and organizations to support the reach, awareness and mission of Radio Milwaukee and its stations. The Promotions Manager will be responsible for crafting proposals for events sponsorships, media trade, concerts promotions and more on behalf of Radio Milwaukee, 88Nine and HYFIN. (Apply here)

Traffic Associate
The Traffic Assistant is responsible for overall assurance traffic responsibilities, including but not limited to: order entry, continuity management, log management, sales support and backup to the Traffic Manager. The Traffic Associate will assist with the daily management for (WYMS) Radio Milwaukee’s 88Nine and HYFIN stations, which includes reconciling and checking conflicts. Under the Traffic Manager’s supervision, the Traffic Associate will help monitor station compliance and assist in other traffic-related duties when necessary. (Apply here)

Intern at Radio Milwaukee

Radio Milwaukee has paused its internship program for the remainder of 2022.

Radio Milwaukee interns learn the “ins” and “outs” of non-commercial radio by participating in the day-to-day tasks of programming, promotions, production, engineering, traffic, operations and underwriting. Each intern will be given single and ongoing assignments to complete, providing experience in the many forms of radio operations.

  • Spring program: First week of January to last week of May
  • Summer program: First week of June to last week of August
  • Fall program:  First week of September to last week of December

Interns must be available at least 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
