El Sebas makes music influenced by his culture and experiences. The Mexican rapper, artist and cultural curator is half of urban Latin hip-hop duo Browns Crew — alongside fellow rapper Cristo Paz — and writes through a journalistic lens that affirms his own realities and those of his community members.

In 2019, Browns Crew was named a winner at Summerfest’s Emerging Artist Series, was awarded 88Nine’s Song of the Year for “Mil Aires” and received the Nō Studios Artist Grant for 2021-2022.
