Yesterday, Great Lake Drifters was our guest on 414 Music Live! In case you missed it, you can watch the video of the performance below via Facebook live.
The Great Lake Drifters have been a part of the growing Milwaukee music scene since 2010. Last year, they released full-length album Radio Picture Show.
With a diverse set of influences ranging from Jeff Tweedy of Wilco to Radiohead to Johnny Cash, Great Lake Drifters are a quintet of complex musicians that come together to create a sound that's hard to assign a genre. If we're going to try, we'll call it "alt country."
Great Lake Drifters will play Rock the Green this Saturday, September 17 at 7 p.m. on the Pedal Power Stage.
