Thursday, on 414 Live, we were excited to welcome Tis — the Traditional Irish Session — in the spirit of their appearance at Irish Fest on August 18. This group of music enthusiasts remain traditional yet entertaining through their performances of Irish and Celtic songs, jigs and reels.

Tis is a four member group including Tim Benkowski on fiddle, Tim Kolberg (TK) on guitar, John Manthe on mandolin and Tom Mortensen on percussion. Aiming to entertain with high energy, hand clapping and foot stomping, Tis delivered in enveloping their audiences into their own Irish musical heritage.
The band has been playing shows together for around two decades now and continue to put smiles on Irish music lovers at pubs, festivals, gatherings and weddings.
