We are happy to share our fifth episode of the 414 Live Variety Hour. It’s amazing that we have made it nearly halfway through the year in these unusual times, still being able to put forward a platform where we can showcase and lift the voices of these amazing Milwaukee musicians in our community.

This episode was a particularly special episode. Every member of Telethon joined us and shared a very special band slasher film for the season, B-Free and Quinten Farr shared their beautiful sounds and advice navigating this time while testing each other’s knowledge, De La Buena organized their entire group for a brand new song, and the Nasty Boys brought us a documentary about the cult of nasty. These are just a few things you’ll experience on this episode of the Variety Hour.

Ayisha interviews B-Free and Quinten Farr

As always, we continue the dialogue on how artists have been navigating these unusual times as we start to adapt to a new normal. They share how they’ve been able to keep creative and move forward while contributing to the city with their passion and talents.

If you missed the episode, you can watch it in full above, plus tune in every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. to hear interviews and performances from this 414 Live Variety Hour throughout November. And while you’re at it, check out the episodes you missed here.

Mark your calendars for our next episode on Nov. 19, a very special episode where I will be co-hosting with the very charismatic Charlie Berens and we will invite Abby Jeanne, Zed Kenzo, Chicken Wire Empire, and Reyna to join us for another great show. You can tune in to this show on Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. on our Facebook, YouTube, or Twitch pages on social media.
