Gary's mom Mary pronounced Gary as Geddy in her heavy Polish accent and a nickname was born. Geddy has been a member of what would become the band Rush since 1968. In 2013, after 20+ albums and 40+ years, the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. For today's Shadow, we'll hear 'Spirit of Radio' from 1980's Permanent Waves and the cover is by British band Catherine Wheel.
