The Prince tributes keep coming in, including one from Dwight Yoakam

It was a weird moment last spring when we got word that Price had passed away. At first, no one wanted to believe the news that was coming at us from all sides, first from the sleazy website TMZ, then more conventional news outlets were confirming it. We were in the midst of our fund drive and once we get that going nothing can stop it. We had a pow-wow to discuss what to do, though it wasn't during a fund drive, we'd experienced David Bowie's passing a few months prior and we decided to do what needed to be done: wall-to-wall Prince for the rest of the day. It seems to help ease the sting of Prince's death.

Many months on, the tributes and covers continue, from expected and unexpected artists. I'd say a cover of 'Purple Rain' falls into the latter category, no? It's a nice reading as only Dwight could do.
