Ian Curtis would've been 59 years old today, but he committed suicide 35 years ago. But he wasn't always the dour character some portrayals made him out to be. In his memoir of Joy Division, Peter Hook said, "He was just another guy in the band, a guy who loved carousing, dirty jokes and being one of the boys." To commemorate his birthday, we play a newly remastered version of "Transmission"
