Kate Bush 'new' live triple CD inspires today's 5 O'Clock Shadow

Like her fellow Brits: The Beatles and XTC, Kate Bush was not a fan of live performance and after an appearance in 1979 at Hammersmith Apollo, she eschewed live performance altogether, until 2014, when she announced a series of shows, also at the same venue, a 35-year span. The entire run sold out in 15 minutes and crashed the server selling the tickets. By all accounts the shows were spectacular, incorporating Kate's trademark theatricality into the set. By design, no video was shot, these shows were intended only for audio recording, beyond the live experience.

I finally got a chance to spend some quality time with the 3 CD over the weekend, which had me, of course, going down the wormhole, listening to all the old Kate Bush records, in addition to the live set. Among the gems I found was a really faithful of "Love & Anger" by Nada Surf.
